It's looks like I took this one upside down.  Two swoon blocks down.  I have a whole week off to work on the others.  I can't wait!  These blocks are huge so there can't be many unless I want to make a King Size quilt!

I was finally able to finish my Mill's Girls Quilt.  About a month ago, I finally got my long arm and I've been able to finish up the tops to the quilts that I've been putting off.  As you can see, I've been able to get a few done.  The Mill's Girls quitl was time consuming and obviously a little hard on the eyes after a while.  I screwed up on the left side and didn't notice until it was that far down on the long arm.  Oh well. I don't think I would have gone back to rip it out since I had already been down that road with this one many times.  Even though it has those blocks turned wrong, I really enjoy this quilt.  A lot of effort paid off.
I was also able to get a duckie quilt ready for a baby gift this past week.  I put the design of the quilt together myself after constructing four 12 1/2" blocks.  It turned out pretty cute.
Before I started all of the quilting above, my husband and son got busy putting cupboards into my quilt room.  I'll have to repost later with the updates to the room that I've done since then.  I REALLY love my quilt room now.  It still needs a few more decorations, but I'm getting there little by little.

Working on a quilt for a friend who was jealous that she never got one of my quilts.  Blocks are all finished!  Now onto the pieced borders.  It sure is interesting how many different ways you can combine jelly roll strips.

Farmer's Wife Blocks - 9 so far

After working on a few blocks for a friend's quilt, I took time out to work on my Farmer's Wife blocks.  It's been a long time and I truly enjoyed working on the 2 that I completed today.  However, at this rate, it's going to take me years to complete the blocks. I'll have to remember more often to pull out my project box and get going!  I've completed 8 now!

My first Dresden

I've been putting off doing these for years and now that I've completed two of them, I'm not sure why.  They are really easy.  I was also able to finish two of the BOM from the Fat Quarter Shop and am now patiently waiting for the next.  I'm trying to decide the background for the dresden plates!  I hope it doesn't take as long as it did for me to actually make them!  Maybe a Kona snow???

2011 NYE Mystery

This was a fun mystery....all completed in about a day.  I know why there is such a thing as a seam ripper after this quilt. I also know why pins were invented.  It was a lot of fun to complete and I look forward to the next endeavor.
